Project report

2010-2012 “Creative Industries and the Region in Europe: challenges and opportunities”. Grants from Regional Studies Association to run the research network workshops in Europe (4) over a period of two years (in collaboration with C. Chapain and N. Clifton). This is a renewal of the previous grant based on the success of the previous research network activities www.creative-regions.eu

2009-2010 as part of the University of Southampton “Creative Campus Initiative” I have been awarded £4,000 to run a research / creative project looking at Spaces of knowledge and interaction in the Highfield Campus

2008. “Creative Industries and the Region: Relationships between Places, Local and Regional Policies and Creative Production”. Grants from Regional Studies Association to run the research network over a period of 1 and ½ years (leading in collaboration with C. Chapain and N. Clifton). Managing the first research seminar that took place in Southampton and the network website www.creative-regions.org.uk
